Description
Assiniboine Forest is a beautiful area of Winnipeg. This unique park offers a good example of aspen-oak vegetation, which is the home of a great variety of birds, animals, and even some rare plants.
An observation area overlooks the pond, from where you can watch for shorebirds and waterfowl. If you're lucky, you may even see a white-tailed deer.
